Cardi B cooks Latin American dishes


Cardi B has teamed up with Messenger and Instagram to post the latest episode of Cardi tries __, who will see the music superstar and now, mother of two, cook Latin American dishes with the actor and the model India Moore just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month – and we’ve got an exclusive clip!

After trying out rhythmic gymnastics with Amanda Seales In the last episode, Cardi and Indya head to Mexican restaurant La Casita in Los Angeles to cook with chefs Jaime Martín Del Campo and Ramiro arvizu. The chefs teach the stars traditional recipes inspired by Dominican, Peruvian, Salvadoran and Mexican cuisine.

“I feel like a lot of people know I’m Dominican, I’m Caribbean, and it’s like I really want to learn how to be a great Hispanic cook,” Cardi admits during the episode. “I want to cook like my aunt and my grandmother.

In this slice of Cardi tries __, fans can experience Cardi’s take on the making of Mangú, Pupusas, Ceviche and Chile en Nogada. In typical Cardi B fashion, the episode is packed with hilarious moments as the Grammy-winning artist learns new recipes to bring into her own kitchen and even serves her culinary creations to the singer. “Le Morir Soñando definitely brought me back to New York”, Cardi said after trying some of the cooking. “We’re both Dominicans, so that brings us to the bakery.”

Moore continued, “If there’s an apocalypse or the world ends or something … since you can’t make a fire, you can make a ceviche.

From today, Friday September 17, fans can watch the full episode on Watch Together via Messenger, Instagram and Facebook Watch, which allows users to watch music videos, TV shows, movies and more with friends and family in real time.
