Contemporary Latin American Restaurant & Bar, MNKY HSE arrives in Manchester

Mayfair’s favorite seems to be opening here in the city this fall…

Opened in 2016 and bringing a Latin American flair to Mayfair, MNKY HSE made a name for themselves over the next few years in the capital and it looks like they are now set to impress us here in Manchester soon too.

MNKY HSE combines funk and Latin soul in a late-night restaurant and bar, with a Latin American menu alongside a List of mezcal-themed cocktailswines and a dynamic entertainment program organized regularly until late.

The innovative menu reinvents the diverse cuisine of this incredible part of the world through a bold and colorful sharing concept, served in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

Signature dishes include Crunchy Wagyu Truffle Taco, Yellowfin tuna ceviche with caviar, Patagonian toothfish and the MNKY HSE Extravaganza Luxury Tray. It’s a unique and creative menu, all designed for sharing.

There is also a wide selection of Sushi & Cevicheas well as seafood and meat main courses if you want to ‘make a Joey’ and stick strictly to your own plate of food.

MNKY HSE this week submitted an application to Manchester City Council for an ‘internal development of a commercial unit to form a bar/restaurant’ on the Lloyd House building, which houses Red’s Real BBQ and the excellent vegan restaurant Award.

Inside MNK HSE, customers will find a multi-sensory design and lighting experience creating a seamless rhythm that never lacks rhythm from day to night.

The 102-seat restaurant will have a central bar, as well as an open kitchen and a prominent DJ booth.

Tom Curle, MNKY HSE Manchester investor, said: “We are delighted to bring MNKY HSE to Manchester. The brand has already built up a fantastic reputation in London and the Middle East as a place to be seen, while offering exceptional food and entertainment,”

Boris Kofman, co-founder of MNKY HSE, added: “We are very excited to bring the MNKY HSE brand, energy and family to Manchester, adding to the growing number of exclusive brands coming to the city. Manchester has always been on our radar in our expansion plans and we are looking forward to launching later this year.
