Fried chicken, bacon entwined with maple syrup and waffles are some of the dishes you can savor when a new American restaurant in Nottingham opens.
Hickory’s Smokehouse brings the authentic tastes of the American Deep South to the other side of the Atlantic and already operates around 11 other restaurants in the UK.
This is the company’s first restaurant in Notts. It will be a short drive outside of downtown Nuthall, just off Woodhouse Way, on Mornington Crescent.
The new restaurant has a cinema room and a new outdoor play area that is sure to keep young children entertained.
Those wishing to try some of the menu items can reserve a table from October 4, when the restaurant officially opens.
Hickory’s is committed to bringing its customers an authentic taste of the Deep South – even by ordering smokers from Memphis, USA, which were due to be rolled out earlier this week.

Guests can discover a dedicated bar with a long list of drinks and a range of quirky dining spaces, including a movie theater showing an ever-changing range of films.
And if the interior transformation wasn’t enough, the gardens have been cleverly redesigned to include a fun zone for the kids, complete with a themed slide and climbing frame, as well as tons of seating options, including covered areas. unique.
The team behind Hickory’s Smokehouse has transformed the site of the former Old Moor Inn on Mornington Crescent to create an authentic family dining experience.
Inspired by a trip to South Carolina, the restaurant created a wraparound veranda for drinking and dining al fresco.
To hone their pitmaster and barbecue skills, the owners took a road trip across the United States, visiting more than 70 cities.
A meat feast if ever there is one, brunch kicks off with the aforementioned chicken waffle, the excellent American breakfast, and stacks of pancakes.
